Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 19 February 2026
We are committed to providing you with exceptional service, and that's why we prefer to keep things clear so there are no surprises along the way.
When you make a booking with us, whether this is a retreat, training or coaching, you will be automatically accepting our terms and conditions. So please take your time to carefully read our cancellation policy below.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all mentoring services, workshops, and retreats organized by Tinkara Oblak, s.p. (hereinafter: "the Provider"). By booking a service, the client (hereinafter: "the Participant") agrees to these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once the deposit or full payment is received.
Payment Terms: Payments are processed via Stripe or bank transfer. For retreats, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your spot.
Prices: All prices are in EUR. The Provider is not a VAT payer according to the Slovenian VAT Act (ZDDV-1).
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Since retreats and workshops involve fixed costs (venue, catering, materials), the following refund policy applies:
For Retreats:
Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once the deposit is received. The remaining payment is to be settled 30 days before arrival.
Payment Terms: Payments are processed via Stripe or bank transfer. Your deposit is non refundable. We also offer other extended payment plans, such as monthly installment payments; please reach out for more info.
Prices: All prices are in EUR. The Provider is not a VAT payer according to the Slovenian VAT Act (ZDDV-1).
For Mentoring & Workshops:
Deposits paid to the Provider are strictly non-refundable. The remaining balance shall be settled by the Participant on the agreed-upon due dates.
The Participant is contractually obligated to complete the course within the designated timeframe (e.g., 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 months). This timeframe must be adhered to by both parties, unless an alternative schedule is mutually agreed upon in writing prior to the course start.
Failure by the Participant to book or attend live sessions within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the right to those sessions. The course duration will not be extended to accommodate the Participant's lack of commitment (unless expressly pre-agreed).
Any failure by the Participant to make consecutive payments will result in the automatic termination of their right to continue the course, and all amounts previously settled shall be non-refundable and forfeited to the Provider.
For 1-1 mentoring:
Session Rescheduling (Participant): All requests by the Participant to reschedule a 1:1 session must be communicated to the Provider at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund, and the session fee will be forfeited. Rescheduling in this timeframe is at the Provider's sole discretion.
Provider Cancellation/Rescheduling: The Provider reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to special circumstances, including personal illness or Force Majeure. In such an event, the Provider will offer the Participant an alternative session date or a full refund for the cost of the single affected session.
Upon the Participant's full settlement of the total fee for the retreat, training, or coaching service, all amounts paid shall be non-refundable, without exception.
3. Service Changes or Cancellation by the Provider
The Provider reserves the right to:
Cancel a retreat or workshop if the minimum number of participants is not met. In this case, a 100% refund will be issued to the Participant.
Change the venue or schedule due to "Force Majeure" (extraordinary circumstances beyond control).
4. Liability & Insurance
Participation at Own Risk: Participants in retreats and workshops are responsible for their own physical and mental well-being. The Provider is not liable for personal injuries, health issues, or loss of personal property during the event.
Health: The Participant must ensure they are fit to attend. Since the Provider does not collect health data (as per the Privacy Policy), the Participant is responsible for managing their own dietary needs or medical requirements.
5. Communication (WhatsApp/Telegram)
Participants of retreats/workshops will be invited to a group chat. By joining, the Participant agrees that their phone number and profile info will be visible to other members of that specific group.
6. Dispute Resolution
The parties will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, the competent court in Ljubljana (or your local court) shall have jurisdiction.
